Directions from the Twin Cities
Take Interstate 94 west to Hwy 15 North (through St. Cloud). Take Hwy 15N to Hwy 10 West. Take Hwy 10W to Hwy 371 north (in Little Falls). Take 371N to Baxter. Turn on to County Road 49 also known as Wise Road (rt. at a stop light just past a Toyota dealership). Take Co.Rd. 49 to Hwy 3 north, turn left at a stop light. Highway 3 North will have a right hand turn just north of Merrifield, MN. Take Hwy 3 toward Crosslake. Just prior to getting into the Crosslake business district you will come to County Road 36. Turn right on to Co.Rd. 36.
Check your mileage — we will be giving mileage notations from now until you get to our land. NOTE: drive slowly once you get onto Bonnie Lake Road — there are a LOT of deer in our area and they’re not afraid to cross the road.
1.5 miles to first turn (right turn). This will keep you on Co.Rd. 36
2.8 miles to Bonnie Lake Road (left hand turn).
1.6 miles - You will need to turn right to stay on Bonnie Lake Road.
1.4 miles to Pickerel Trail - turn right (There is a sign to Timber Estates on this corner, has a Loon on top and bears on the side).
You will see a dirt road to your right soon after turning on to Pickerel Trail. Take that dirt road. You will see a STOP, PRIVATE PROPERTY sign on the right hand side. Just keep driving straight on this dirt road for about 1.1 miles to SAM land. The road ends at our driveway.
