What It All Comes Down To

Well February is here and that means one of our annual traditions is about to end. The annual take down of all the Christmas picture cards from our refrigerator.

Judy and I are reminded how incredibly blessed we are each time we open our refrigerator door from December through February. Each of the cards tell us about friends and family members who have experienced another year of life.

One of the things we have experienced, and we know others who have lost a child experience after the death of a child, is the fact that priorities change pretty dramatically. Relationships suddenly take on a new meaning. It's not that we didn't care about relationships before, but after the death of a child one realizes that "things" don't matter near as much as people do. Many of the "things" that absolutely captured our imaginations before suddenly feel empty. The pursuit of MORE doesn't seem to bring the same meaning that it used to. But spending time with family and friends takes on a new priority in our lives. Being with loved ones becomes even more precious than before.

So to all our friends and relatives whose pictures fill our refrigerator we wish you a blessed 2015 and we look forward to seeing your cards again next December. We love you all, Pat & Judy

I lead a team that develops marketing communications strategies. We produce videos, design websites, and create digital media for forward-oriented nonprofit organizations and businesses.

Because video storytelling plays such a significant part of online marketing, I am heavily involved in video production, every day. Our prolific little agency is constantly involved in helping businesses, and especially nonprofits, tell their unique stories. In social media. On websites. With video. If you aren't using video to tell your organization's story and to grow your business, why not?
