Parents of special needs children often face many challenges. This is the story of one family’s journey together. “Isaac joined our family through adoption right after his first birthday. We immediately fell in love with his beautiful spirit, amazing smile and the light of God that radiated through him. He had already been through many medical challenges when he came to us...a devastating infection had ravaged his brain and robbed him of the ability to walk or talk or eat on his own. We had the privilege of walking him through life until he passed away just before his 7th birthday. Isaac taught us to live fully...to love with everything we've got and most importantly, we learned that the value of life is not dependent on what the world sees as "success" but on simply being a child of God. made fully in His image. We miss our beautiful boy more than anyone can imagine, but we rejoice in the knowledge that he is free...and that we will see him again.” Isaac died Nov. 22, 2015 when he was six years old.

Once again, Smile Again Ministries is holding our Celebration of Life campaign. When you give it enables us to reach out to parents like Isaac’s family, with hope, encouragement, and tools they can use to deal with their grief and loss. This year’s goal is $65,000.00. The GREAT news is that once again we have donors who have committed to match your donation, dollar for dollar up to $15,000! That’s right. For every dollar you give, they will match it with one of their own. So, your gift is doubled up to $15,000. The Celebration of Life campaign runs from today until Dec. 31 of this year.
Did you know that your donations allow families to stay at Whitetail Lodge for just $50 a night. That’s for the entire family that comes. Obviously, we can’t offer this low price without the faithful support of you, our donors. Please consider how much you can give this year. Please share our campaign with all your social media friends. Ask them to join you in giving to Smile Again Ministries. Challenge them to match your gifts to this year’s campaign.
