A Song of Remembrance

When our Mickey died music was such an important part of Judy and my grief journey. Kind words of support from family and friends were important too, but music just seemed to capture our emotions and tears and struggles.

Friends of ours lost their little girl, Claire Linette Pruett, to Spinal Muscular Atrophy on May 8, 2015. The song and pictures above reflect their grief and love fore little Claire.

Since Claire's death, Chris and Kristin have had a special Claire Bear Day, not only to remember their little girl, but also to celebrate the lives of other children whose families had lost them too early in life. This year's Clair Bear Day is this Saturday, May 5 at the Santa Lucia's Ice Cream at 511 1st St. in Princeton, MN. If you go to Santa Lucia's you will receive a FREE ice cream cone. Donations will be accepted, and the money raised will go to Babies Home in Uganda called The Claire House. This is an orphanage for infants. So if you're in the Princeton area on Saturday please stop by Santa Lucia's and let Chris and Kristin know you are remembering their daughter, Claire.

One last thought, please share this post with your social media friends. Judy and I love you guys for caring. God bless, Pat

I lead a team that develops marketing communications strategies. We produce videos, design websites, and create digital media for forward-oriented nonprofit organizations and businesses.

Because video storytelling plays such a significant part of online marketing, I am heavily involved in video production, every day. Our prolific little agency is constantly involved in helping businesses, and especially nonprofits, tell their unique stories. In social media. On websites. With video. If you aren't using video to tell your organization's story and to grow your business, why not?
