Feeling Humbled

Every year Judy and I feel very humbled as scores of you, our friends, give to our Celebration of Life fund raiser. This fund raiser enables us to offer families who have faced one of the most devastating moments in their lives a retreat filled with helps and counseling as they grieve the loss of a child or children. Your support allows us to charge families just $50 a night for their time at Smile Again Ministries.

This year your gifts totaled $54,191.00! It was absolutely amazing to see how God moved the hearts of people to give in the closing 11 days of Dec. On Dec. 20 we were at $29,744.00. And to be honest, Judy and I were feeling pretty discouraged. But, as Judy reminded me more than once, our God IS faithful. She reminded me that He surprises us year after year. And this year isn’t any different.

So from the bottom of our hearts Judy and I thank everyone who gave to this year’s fund raiser. We truly are humbled. God bless, and remember, we love you! Pat & Judy
